     Roy Archibald Bezanson was born in 1896.^1,2 He was an heir to the estate of John David Bezanson.³ Roy Archibald Bezanson may have been the "R. A. Bezanson" who was described as being gassed as part of the casualties report in at The Register, Berwick, Nova Scotia, on 2 October 1918.⁴ He died in 1926.^1,2 He was buried in Oak Grove Cemetery, Kentville, Kings County, Nova Scotia.²

     James M. Hird was born on 11 January 1835 at Scotland.² He married Martha (?) on 13 December 1859 at Monifeith, Forfarshire, Scotland. He was 24. She was 23.^1,3 James M. Hird and Martha (?) appeared on the census of 1871 at Aylesford South, Kings County, Nova Scotia.⁴ James M. Hird and Martha (?) appeared on the census of 1881 at Harbourville, Kings County, Nova Scotia.⁵ James M. Hird and Martha (?) appeared on the census of 1891 at Canada Creek, Kings County, Nova Scotia.⁶ James M. Hird was a farmer in 1900.¹ He and Martha (?) appeared on the census of 1901 at Grafton, Somerset, Kings County, Nova Scotia.⁷

     Ruth A. Rockwell was born on 16 December 1840.¹ At age 17 Ruth A. Rockwell married Charles E. Lawrence on 15 April 1858 at Canard, Nova Scotia.¹

     Michael Clougherty was born circa 1879 at Ireland.² He appeared on the census of 1930 in the household of Peter Patrick Cloherty and Sarah Marie Clasby at 24 Allston Street, Boston, Suffolk County, Massachusetts, and was described as a cousin.³

     Alice Alberta Lockhart was born on 13 May 1849. She died on 13 May 1849 at age 0.

     Captain Jonathan Houghton was born on 7 November 1737 at Lancaster, Massachusetts.¹ At age 22 Captain Jonathan Houghton married Susannah Moor, age 26 on 24 November 1759 at Bolton, Massachusetts.¹ Captain Jonathan Houghton and Susannah Moor had 7 children.¹ Captain Jonathan Houghton died in December 1829 at Bolton, Worcester County, Massachusetts, at age 92.¹

     Rufus Houghton was born on 6 December 1769 at Bolton, Massachusetts.¹ At age 26 Rufus Houghton married Abigail Barnard, age 18 on 7 February 1796 at Bolton, Worcester County, Massachusetts.¹ Rufus Houghton had 13 children.¹ He died on 26 August 1853 at Bolton, Worcester County, Massachusetts, at age 83.¹

     Amory Houghton Sr. was born on 26 August 1812 at Cambridge, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.¹ At age 24 Amory Houghton Sr. married Sophronia Mann Oakes, age 22 on 5 October 1836 at Boston, Suffolk County, Massachusetts.¹ Amory Houghton Sr. and Sophronia Mann Oakes had seven children.¹ Amory Houghton Sr. died on 20 February 1882 at Brooklyn, New York, at age 69.¹

     Alfred Augustus Houghton was born on 6 March 1851 at Cambridge, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.¹ He married Caroline Garlinghouse in 1876.¹ Alfred Augustus Houghton and Caroline Garlinghouse had three children.¹ Alfred Augustus Houghton died on 28 October 1892 at Corning, Steuben County, New York, at age 41.¹ He committed suicide.¹

     Katharine Martha Houghton was born on 2 February 1878 at New York.¹ At age 26 Katharine Martha Houghton married Thomas Norval Hepburn M.D., age 24 on 6 June 1904 at Hartford, Hartford County, Connecticut.¹ Katharine Martha Houghton and Thomas Norval Hepburn M.D. had six children.¹ Katharine Martha Houghton died on 17 March 1951 at Hartford, Hartford County, Connecticut, at age 73.¹

     Katharine Houghton Hepburn was born on 12 May 1907 at Hartford, Hartford County, Connecticut.¹ At age 21 Katharine Houghton Hepburn married Ludlow Ogden Smith on 12 December 1928 at Hartford, Hartford County, Connecticut.¹ Katharine Houghton Hepburn died on 29 June 2003 at Old Saybrook, Connecticut, at age 96.¹ The Boston Globe and many other newspapers printed her obituary on 30 June 2003.²
