Overview
The Site Section includes properties to define the identity of the site, including the Title and SubTitle.
Properties
Title
Use the Title property to define the title for the site. The site Title is usually displayed in the page header of all pages.
SubTitle
Use the SubTitle property to define the subtitle for the site.
Include SubTitle On All Pages
The site SubTitle is usually displayed on the main page of the site and is optional for all other pages. The Include SubTitle On All Pages checkbox controls whether the SubTitle appears on all pages, or just the main page. The default is unchecked.
Main Page Content
The Main Page Content property controls the text that appears in the content section of the main page. You can enter text, HTML, and script statements as required. Open the Edit Window via the Edit Menu or use [F7] to do so. The Edit Window makes it easier to edit properties with long text values.
The Site.Main Page Content property and the Main Page.Extra Content property share the same value, and so the two property names are effectively synonyms. If you change the Site.Main Page Content value, and then open the Layouts.Main Page section to inspect the Main Page.Extra Content value, you will see that it has changed also.
