OUT AT THE PLATE is Johnny Higgins of St. Raphael, attempting to steal home in the fourth inning of yesterday's play-off game with Westerly High at Aldrich Field. Westerly Catcher Fred Savage puts the tag on as Higgins begins slide. Calling the play is Umpire Bob Butler. In the background is Paul Fiore, who was batting when Higgins came in. St. Raphael won, 2-1, in 12 innings.
